On appointment of Luraschi, Sergio Bourguignon, added: “I’d like to welcome Leandro to the Ncam team. He has a wealth of experience within the broadcast industry, having worked at Turner Argentina for the last 11 years. We’re delighted to bolster our exceptional and talented team of product specialists and to further support installed systems and new projects in the LATAM region.”

First showcased at NAB 2019, Ncam Reality 2019.1 is a major new release that includes more than 80 new features as well as significant system optimization for improved performance and enhanced capabilities.

The new version of Ncam Reality sees added support for the Extreme Camera Bar, an additional functionality that enables users to track environments that are subject to dynamic lighting changes. This new feature is particularly useful for productions using practical effects, explosions, moving lights and fast lighting changes.

Lens profiling of cine lenses and calibration of the Ncam Reality camera bar has also been refined to improve tracking quality and speed up the setup process. The number of supported video capture cards has also increased with the addition of support for Blackmagic Design’s DecLink SDI 4K video card supplementing the existing support for AJA Corvid 44 and Kona 4 video cards.
